An all in one modular solution

MODSAW

The perfect tool for all of your high precision cutting needs. Tailored to cutting carbon and aluminum arrows used in archery, our saw allows you to perform all the tasks from your local pro shop at home.

WHAT MODSAW OFFERS

Saw

With the main purpose of modsaw being a saw, we have built in a measuring tape that allows for precise cuts on whatever measurement you need your arrows to be.

Square

For a final finish of the cut, it is important to square the cut end. Modsaw includes a built in sandpaper pad to square the end of the cut arrow while spinning on the built in spinner.

Spin

When it comes to cut quality and broadhead precision, spinning your arrows is a crucial step. We provide high quality bearings and a top down indicator to see any wobble that your point is experiencing.

Operating Instructions

Setup
  1. It is recommended to attach the saw to a workbench using the two screw holes on each end of the saw.

  2. It is recommended to attach a vacuum to the vacuum attachment in order to collect the carbon dust.

Saw
  1. Adjust the rear rest on the saw by sliding the measurement indicator to the desired length you need to cut your arrows. Tighten the thumbscrew.

  2. Adjust the middle rest to be centered between the saw blade and the rear rest. Tighten the thumbscrew.

  3. Turn on the saw and slowly roll the arrow into the blade.

  4. After cutting the carbon arrow shaft, move the arrow to the other side of the saw and rest it on the bearings.

Square
  1. After placing the arrow on the bearings, use gentle downward and forward force, rotate the arrow in the bearings while pushing the cut end into the included sandpaper post. This will perfectly square the cut end of the arrow and remove any carbon burs or dust.

  2. Dry fit your inserts and tips into the newly squared shaft.

Spin
  1. Place your arrow back on the bearings after dry fitting your inserts and screwing in your tip

  2. While the arrow is spinning, look down from the top of the arrow aligning the tip of your field point or broadhead with the spin indicator.

  3. As the arrow spins, if there is any wobble remove the arrow from the spinner and rotate the insert slightly, continue doing this until you find the spine of the arrow, this is where the tip stays perfectly still while spinning.

Here's a few things our customers say

This saw is better than I expected it to be. It is solidly built with quality parts. With out it being mounted to a board yet it is very sturdy. It cuts straight each time. Little to no sanding needed. Well worth the cost.
